We stayed at this fabulous guest house for just one night during the busy early January period...the house and gardens are brilliantly located and are superbly presented. We were greeted with a smile and our host somehow managed to address our needs (information about the town and surrounds and queries about the guesthouse) before we even knew we needed to know! All in all, a peaceful luxurious stay with gracious hosts. Only downside was possibly that our room didn't have a TV in it, but there was one in the guest living room. We overcame this by opening the door and being soothed by the sounds of the ocean all night. This would be my first choice accommodation on the Great Ocean Road.

My husband and I have had the dream holiday at Apollo Bay Guest House. We saw the television coverage on our local travel show and booked immediately. Even though our expectations were high, they were surpassed.
Our hosts set a benchmark in charm and generous warmth. Arriving to plunger coffee and Twinings loose leaf tea with home made shortbreads was a real treat. We were so comfortable in the sunny lounge reading glossy magazines it was hard to leave; fortunately the glorious sea view from every room is spectacular. The crackling fire was so cosy! Best of all, the authentic French decor made us feel like we had travelled a very long way with no effort for an exotic holiday. Just a fabulous experience in every exquisitely thought out detail.
